Dwarf Umbrella Tree

$12

Schefflera Arboricola, also known as an umbrella tree, with a dwarf suffix attached to it for one variety. It also bears the names of octopus tree and parasol plant. It is an adorable pet for your floral collection, and an amateur gardener’s most obedient subject, the umbrella tree is the houseplant you didn’t know you wanted, but a houseplant you deserve to take care of.

They do not need to see the sun directly. But filtered sunlight through glass is fine. The best spot for them is where they do not see the sun during the majority of the day, like somewhere shady outside or inside behind a window.
The minimum light requirement for them is 0 - 3 feet away from the nearest light source. A good bright place inside your home would be on the window sill or a stool that is right next to a window.
They need to be watered when the first 1 - 2 inches of soil is dry. That usually takes about 1 week in an average home environment. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but it's always safer to underwater or give the soil a check before you do the watering.
They can live in any average home humidity condition.
Provide a weak feed to the soil once or twice a month.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
As with all living things, no two plants are alike. There is some natural variation in size, shape, and characteristics. We make every effort to bring you a plant that as closely as possible matches the plant as it appears on our website, in the size you have chosen, and have a good potential to happily grow in your home.
