Empire Cypress

Empire Cypress, aka Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Ellwood's Empire, is a conical-shaped evergreen tree with upwardly-growing branches and twigs. It has soft, feather-shaped silver-blue foliage, and can be grown both indoor and outdoor.

When placed outdoor, they like as much sun as possible. When placed indoor, they do well in bright indirect light.
When outdoor, keep them somewhere to get the most amount of sun. When indoor, the minimum light requirement for them is 0 - 3 feet away from the nearest light source. A good bright place inside your home would be on the window sill or a stool that is right next to a window. During the warm months, they should be placed outdoors.
They need to be watered when the first 1 - 2 inches of soil is dry. That usually takes about 1 week in an average home environment. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but it's always safer to underwater or give the soil a check before you do the watering. Make sure don't let the soil dry out completely.
They can live in any average home humidity condition.
Rotate the plant when watering to prevent growing in one direction.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. The nursery pot is usually 0.5" - 1" smaller than stated to fit into the same size decorative pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
