Fairy Castle Cactus

$15

Acanthocereus Tetragonus, aka Fairy Castle Cactus, is native to North, South and Central Americas. This miniature columnar cactus grows hundreds of green branches. As it grows, the branches clump together vertically, forming the turrets of a “fairy castle.” Each stem has five sides with short white spines growing along the ribs. It grows well indoors and is perfect for beginners. Although it rarely blooms, and can take years before it is mature enough to do so, “Fairy Castle Cactus” produces white or yellow flowers.

They love as much sun as possible. The best spot for them is where they can see the sun during the majority of the day. But can grow in indirect light as well.
They will tolerate lower light conditions, but thrives in bright light. A good bright place inside your home would be on the window sill or a stool that is right next to a window. If you can, put them outside when the temperature allows.
They like the soil to be completely dry before the next watering. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but for them, it's always safer to underwater.
Their humidity requirement is low. So do not mist them or put them in an aquarium.
Fairy Castle Cactus propagates quite easily from cuttings. Simply sever a branch and replant in moist, well-drained soil. It helps to allow the cut end dry out and harden before you replant it. This makes it easier for the new cactus to form roots.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
