Algerian Ivy Neon

$10

Algerian Ivy, aka Hedera Algeriensis, is a species of evergreen ivy native to the North African coast, including coastal mountains in Algeria. It is one of the most versatile ivies available. It has larger leaves than a typical “English” ivy. It is more drought tolerant, bug resistant, and is more adaptable to warmer temperatures than its “English” counterpart.

They do not need to see the sun directly. But filtered sunlight through glass is fine. The best spot for them is where they do not see the sun during the majority of the day, like somewhere shady outside or inside behind a window.
They thrive in medium to bright light environment. But also will do well in low light conditions.
They like the soil to be completely dry before the next watering. That usually takes about two weeks in an average home environment. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but for them, it's always safer to underwater or water when you see signs of lack of water like floppy, droop, or soft leaves.
Mist them 2-3 times per week to keep up the humidity. Once a month, give your them a nice shower in lukewarm water to wash away any dust. This helps to prevent insect infestations (little pests love to hide in the dust) and boosts the humidity.
Feel free to trim up long runners to keep your plant bushy and full. Use sharp, clean scissors and carefully cut just below a leaf node.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
