ZZ Plant

$15

Zamioculcas zamiifolia – or ZZ plant — is a tropical perennial native to Eastern Africa that has become popular worldwide in recent years due to its tolerance of a wide range of conditions. The ZZ grows smooth, naturally shiny leaves that range from bright lime in their youth to emerald green in their maturity. Individual leaflets are typically one to three inches long. They spring from thick, slightly bulbous stalks, which grow from large, water-storing rhizomes hidden underneath the soil.

They do not need to see the sun directly. But filtered sunlight through glass is fine. The best spot for them is where they do not see the sun during the majority of the day, like somewhere shady outside or inside behind a window.
A low light plant can pretty much survive anyplace inside your home as long as you have a small window or you have lights on at night.
They like the soil to be completely dry before the next watering. That usually takes about two weeks in an average home environment. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but for them, it's always safer to underwater or water when you see signs of lack of water like floppy, droop, or soft leaves.
They can live in any humidity condition.
They are a slow grower, as long as you don't put them under the sun and don't overwater them, they'll surprise you.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
As with all living things, no two plants are alike. There is some natural variation in size, shape, and characteristics.
