Its sculptural, geometric form and silvery surface make it especially popular with cactus collectors. Young plants are typically rounded with five broad, sharply defined ribs, creating a star like shape when viewed from above. The green stem is densely covered with tiny white woolly flecks called trichomes, giving the plant a soft silver grey appearance. As it ages, Astrophytum myriostigma may develop additional ribs and gradually become more columnar. The rib edges are lined with small woolly areoles, but unlike many cacti, it produces no spines, giving it a clean, almost architectural look.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"JOMO Studio","offers":[{"title":"2.5\" Pot - Assorted","offer_id":52790296445210,"sku":null,"price":25.0,"currency_code":"CAD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0045\/5340\/8576\/files\/AstrophytumMyriostigma2.5b.jpg?v=1788970762","url":"https:\/\/jomostudio.com\/products\/astrophytum-myriostigma","provider":"JOMO Studio","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
