False Aralia

False Aralia, aka Schefflera Elegantissima, has beautifully textured foliage, with deeply serrated leaflets and dimpled petioles and stems. Bright light causes dark, blackish-green colour on mature leaves. The juvenile plants tend to have more textured foliage, while the adult leaves are more deeply lobed.

They do not need to see the sun directly. But filtered sunlight through glass is fine. The best spot for them is where they do not see the sun during the majority of the day, like somewhere shady outside or inside behind a window.
It thrives in a bright light environment. But also will do well in medium light conditions.
They need to be watered when the first 1 - 2 inches of soil is dry. That usually takes about 1 week in an average home environment. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but it's best not to let your Wandering Jew become too dry.
They like a little bit of humidity, give them a mist every 2 - 3 days.
False Aralia doesn’t like to be moved. A sudden change in location causes the leaves to drop off. Make environmental changes gradually and try not to move the plant in winter.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. The nursery pot is usually 0.5" - 1" smaller than stated to fit into the same size decorative pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
As with all living things, no two plants are alike. There is some natural variation in size, shape, and characteristics.
