Calla Lily

Zantedeschia Aethiopica, aka Calla Lily, is not an actual lily but instead aroid. Native to southern Africa, it has smooth, sword-like foliage that's often decorated with white freckles. This foliage looks neat and attractive all season long, both before and after the flowers bloom. Calla lily is easy to grow with flowers come in many beautiful colours, from white to pale pink to deep burgundy, with some recent hybrids in dramatic colours like bright orange and black.

They do not need to see the sun directly. But filtered sunlight through glass is fine. The best spot for them is where they do not see the sun during the majority of the day, like somewhere shady outside or inside behind a window.
Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. A good medium-light place in your home would be in the middle of a room that has a regular size window. They can be placed anywhere between the middle of the room and the window.
They need to be watered when the first 1 - 2 inches of soil is dry. That usually takes about 1 week in an average home environment. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but it's always safer to underwater or give the soil a check before you do the watering.
They can live in any average home humidity condition. But would benefit from extra humidity.
Like other flowering plants, the Calla Lily will go through blooming cycles – a few months with flowers, a few months without. When the current blooming cycle ends, cut the dead leaves and let the plant go dormant for about two months. Place it in bright light and water normally to revive it. This will restart the bloom cycle. If you don’t mind your Calla Lily not reblooming, continue with regular care and enjoy its leafy green foliage year round!
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. The nursery pot is usually 0.5" - 1" smaller than stated to fit into the same size decorative pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
