Coconut Palm


Coconut Palm Tree grows from fresh coconut that still has the husk on it. Characterized by a tall, grey-brown slightly curved trunk, sprawling palm frond, and, of course, coconuts, this plant is native to many tropical regions. It's the plant that will bring you the instant beach vibe.

They love as much sun as possible. The best spot for them is where they can see the sun for the majority of the day.
When outdoor, keep them somewhere get the most amount of sun. When indoor, the minimum light requirement for them is 0 - 3 feet away from the nearest light source. A good bright place inside your home would be on the window sill or a stool that is right next to a window. During the warm months, they should be placed outdoors.
They like the soil to be consistently moist, but not soggy. Water thoroughly when the surface of the soil is dry.
They like a high humidity environment, give them a mist regularly with warm water. Alternatively, you can put them around a humidifier or in a mini greenhouses.
Feed your coconut palm year-round with a weak liquid fertilizer, and increase frequency during the summer months when it's actively growing. Water them with warm water if possible.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. The nursery pot is usually 0.5" - 1" smaller than stated to fit into the same size decorative pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
