Crassula Spiralis Black Curl

Crassula Spiralis, also known as Crassula Estagnol, has small, green leaves that spiral around a central stem. The stems can branch and form a small, shrubby plant up to about 5" tall. It blooms with clusters of small white flowers. It is a rare jade plant with small triangular leaves that spiral tightly around the stem. The drought tolerant Crassula loves sunshine, and the occasional watering, but can do well in lower light spots, too!

They love direct sun, but they'll also do well in indirect light.
The preferred light requirement for them is 0 - 3 feet away from the nearest light source, however, the Haworthia can tolerate lower light as well. A good bright place inside your home would be on the window sill or a stool right next to a window. Like all succulents, they wouldn't die if they don't have enough light but would grow towards the light.
They like the soil to be completely dry before the next watering. That usually takes about two weeks in an average home environment. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but for them, it's always safer to underwater or water when you see signs of lack of water like floppy, droop, or soft leaves.
Their humidity requirement is low. So do not mist them or put them in an aquarium.
Crassula is drought-tolerant and prefers to be under-watered. Not sure when to water? Wrinkles on the leaves are a telltale sign.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. The nursery pot is usually 0.5" - 1" smaller than stated to fit into the same size decorative pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
As with all living things, no two plants are alike. There is some natural variation in size, shape, and characteristics. We make every effort to bring you a plant that as closely as possible matches the plant as it appears on our website, in the size you have chosen, and have a good potential to happily grow in your home.
