Pothos Hawaiian

Epipremnum aureum, or Pothos, is a tropical aroid vine in the family Araceae and native to French Polynesia. They are the perfect houseplant for beginners, also one of the easiest you can grow. Pothos has the ability to spontaneously generate variegation, which has led to several cultivars of variegation and colour – marble, classic jade, and neon. The Hawaiian pothos is a cultivar with huge leaves compared to other types of hanging pothos plants. The dark green foliage has speckles of yellow variegation.

They do not need to see the sun directly. But filtered sunlight through glass is fine.
They thrive in low to medium light environment.
They need to be watered when the first 1 - 2 inches of soil is dry. That usually takes about 1 week in an average home environment. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but it's always safer to underwater or give the soil a check before you do the watering.
Mist them 2-3 times per week to keep up the humidity.
Feel free to trim your Pothos regularly. This encourages the plant to develop more side-shoots and reduces the demand for the plant to develop a larger root system while in a confined container. Their cuttings propagate very easily in water.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. The nursery pot is usually 0.5" - 1" smaller than stated to fit into the same size decorative pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
As with all living things, no two plants are alike. There is some natural variation in size, shape, and characteristics. We make every effort to bring you a plant that as closely as possible matches the plant as it appears on our website, in the size you have chosen, and have a good potential to happily grow in your home.
