Calathea Roseopicta Cora has striking foliage features large almond-shaped leaves with painterly green veins and a pinkish tint. The underside of the leaves are bathed in deep violet, and when the light filters through, the two sides simultaneously reveal added texture and colour. This plant grows upright and you may notice it's leaves will close up at night and reopen in the morning.

They do not need to see the sun directly. But filtered sunlight through glass is fine. Keep them away from intense direct sun.

They thrive in medium to bright light, but can tolerate low light. A good medium-light place in your home would be in the middle of a room that has a regular size window. They can be placed anywhere between the middle of the room and the window.

Allow the soil to dry out halfway before watering. Typically when you see the surface of the soil is dry, it's safe to give them water.

They like a high humidity environment, give them a mist regularly. Alternatively, you can put them around a humidifier. It doesn't mean they'll die if they don't get enough humidity, they may get some crunch edges or yellow rims if they don't have enough humidity but will survive.

Keep guarded from direct sun and mist periodically to increase humidity around the plant and keep its leaves lush. Set on a pebble tray to add extra humidity and keep leaves from crisping.

The plant comes with a default nursery pot. The nursery pot is usually 0.5" - 1" smaller than stated to fit into the same size decorative pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.

If you’re unhappy with your plants for any reason, contact us within 15 days, we'll sort it out for you. Given that they have not been replanted, damaged, neglected or modified in any way.

More importantly, if you have questions about your plant at any point or just not sure if it is doing something good or bad, simply contact us through Instagram @jomostudio or email us at help@jomostudio.com, we will guide you to the right direction. The lifetime support ends if the plant is not alive anymore, and the support does not include the replacement of dead plants.
