Nematanthus Heidi, also known as Goldfish Plant ‘Shady Lady Heidi’, is a colourful trailing houseplant loved for its dark foliage and bright, playful blooms. Its glossy oval leaves emerge ruby red, then mature into deep green with rich purple tones, creating a moody backdrop for its cheerful flowers. Brick red stems add even more colour and texture, making this variety especially ornamental even when not in bloom. Like a classic Goldfish Plant, Nematanthus Heidi produces bright orange, fish shaped tubular flowers along the stems, often blooming generously from late fall through winter and into the warmer months with the right care. Compact, trailing, and full of contrast, this plant is perfect for hanging baskets, shelves, or anywhere its colourful stems can cascade.
