Opuntia Phaeacantha is a species of prickly pear cactus known by the common names tulip prickly pear and desert prickly pear found across the southwestern United States, lower Great Plains, and northern Mexico. It is a succulent shrub or tree growing to 5m in height. Opuntia Phaeacantha has a definite trunk that is much branched at the top and has drooping upper branches. Branches are egg-shaped in outline but with the narrower end at the base. It is not poisonous but watches out for their spines.

They love as much sun as possible. The best spot for them is where they can see the sun during the majority of the day. But can grow in indirect light as well.
They will tolerate lower light conditions, but thrives in bright light. A good bright place inside your home would be on the window sill or a stool that is right next to a window. If you can, put them outside when the temperature allows.
They like the soil to be completely dry before the next watering. It may vary depends on your environment and light condition, but for them, it's always safer to underwater.
Their humidity requirement is low. So do not mist them or put them in an aquarium.
They will like a warm bright spot in your home. And don't water them too much.
The plant comes with a default nursery pot. Washable Paper Planter Bags are sold separately.
